Mobile phone software developer Avaya unveiled a new iPhone software download that makes the iPhone compatible with most corporate telephone networks. Lets call it VoIP over WIFI. The new software will mean you do not have to carry around a separate phone for the work-place any more. See 5 logical steps:
- The girl phone you at your office
- The Avaya server receives the call from PSTN
- It forwards the call to both Steve's IP desktop phone as his WIFI enabled IP iPhone. Steve stays reacheable on both phones
- Steve picks up with his WIFI enabled iPhone
- At 5 o'clock, Steve leaves the building and One-X then handsover to the GSM network. Please check here the planned
